Minority Files Motion to Reject C.I. for new Voters Registration.

The Member of Parliament for Bawku Central Hon. Mahama Ayariga has on behalf of minority in Parliament filed a motion which seeks to throwaway the constitutional instrument that will allow the EC to register new voters.
The new CI is to remove the voter’s I.D card as and birth cert as a registration document for new voter I.D card but the Ghana card.

Ending March 2020 every Ghanaian owns GHC7,870 report from BoG.

By parliamentary proceedings, the C.I. needs 21 continuous sitting day to mature. The MP ask the house to reject the motion before the Subsidiary Legislation Committee submits a report on the C.I. to the floor.
This motion was submitted to the speaker’s office on 19th May, 2020. What is important is for the speaker to set a date for Mr. Ayariga to move the motion on floor with reasons.
Debate will follow the motion and subsequently by voting for or against the motion. The motion then stands if it gets more votes but fails if otherwise.
